Get Involved with the Handball Foundation

There are many ways to be part of the handball community. Whether you are a complete beginner looking to try a new sport, an experienced player seeking competitive opportunities, or an organisation wanting to make a difference — we want to hear from you.

Play Handball

Our sessions are open to everyone. You do not need any experience or equipment to get started. Find a community hub or club session near you and come along. We run sessions for all ages, from primary school children to adults.

Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. We offer a range of roles:

  • Coaching — support our qualified coaches in delivering sessions
  • Officiating — train as a handball referee and support competitions
  • Events — help organise tournaments, festivals, and community days
  • Youth Leadership — young people aged 16+ can develop leadership skills through our volunteer programme

Partner With Us

We work with a range of organisations to grow handball:

  • Schools — become a Handball Hub School and embed handball in your curriculum
